Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time, virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role is available to provide teletherapy services for K-12 students in the Virginia Beach area. This position requires fluency in Spanish to support bilingual speech and language evaluations and interventions, focusing on a caseload of two to three evaluation sessions per week. The role is contract-based with an assignment period from ASAP through June 16, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct teletherapy speech and language evaluations for K-12 students
- Deliver bilingual Spanish assessments and therapy sessions virtually
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress
- Document and report evaluation results in compliance with established protocols
- Manage caseload on an as-needed, part-time basis
Required Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in Virginia
- Proficiency in Spanish to conduct bilingual services effectively
- Experience working with school-aged children (K-12)
- Strong teletherapy skills with familiarity in remote evaluation and intervention techniques
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Preferred Experience:
- 0-2 years: Emerging clinicians welcome
- 3-5 years or more: Previous school experience valued, especially in bilingual settings
